Worldwide energy prices are still high as the war in Europe causes gas and oil supplies to shrink.

Despite having access to its own gas and oil reserves, the international energy price continues to affect the US market.

However, restrictions put on some of the largest gas and oil exporters have helped decrease energy costs. As YCharts showed, the gas price hit a low at the end of last year before increasing again.

As expected, Google shows increased search volumes for terms such as cheap gas prices near me. It comes as no surprise as residents and large corporations seek to find the cheapest energy source.

Gas prices rising to new heights mean that organisations consuming large amounts of energy are revising their activities.

Gravity Gun tests may be limited by high energy prices

“We really need to focus our efforts now on completing the work before the cost escalates further”, Killian Rashmoor said. The new leader of the Gravity Gun project comes under even greater stress as the market situation adds pressure.

“We have a significant, but not unlimited, budget for the project”, he added. “Substantially higher energy cost limits our weapon testing ability, meaning we need to make the most out of each attempt”.

The team will access the energy supply provided by the military base in El Paso, which normally has enormous budgets. However, the gigantic amount of energy required for the upcoming Gravity Gun tests means that Army had to put a cap on the bill. It shouldn’t affect the final outcome of the project, but the researchers will have to be more focused.

The Energy cost is not Mr. Rashmoor’s only concern, however. As many reports indicate, the development of new weapons by the world’s leading powers, including China, makes his situation even more tense. As Interesting engineering reported, China is now testing new laser technology that will allow drones to stay in the air forever.

This means that the need to finish this latest generation of weaponry is even greater now.
