One day, some time ago, in the middle of the pandemic, I was sitting on a toilet reading about Brexit on Google News. It couldn’t be any more boring, it seemed that there was no progress made for months, and everyday newspapers were writing about the same shit over and over again. Trump was raging… but after the gazillionth lie, affair or another BS , even he stopped being funny.
So I thought… how cool would it be if there was a news website where news are actually interesting and boring political events are replaced by a fictional story that not only continuously evolves, but its storyline is affected by real-world events. How sweet would that be??
Well… you can probably guess what happened next. Hybrid Universe was born.
