Mysterious Hybrid Universe is a work of fiction unfolding daily in front of you
The Earth’s core stopped spinning and reversed the direction of its rotation, as scientists reported recently, and many are raising questions not only about what it means for life on Earth but what’s really causing it.
Scientists agree it may be connected with Earth’s seven-decade-long oscillation cycle, but as we still know very little about the inner workings of our planet, other answers are on the table as well. The speed at which the reversion has occurred also seems abnormal as it happened rather rapidly.
Some also suggest that the unusual pattern of earthquakes can be linked to this strange behaviour as significant pressure is now placed on the tectonic plates.
This theory can soon be updated as seismographic stations around the globe are recording certain tectonic plates vibrating in a new way. The intriguing part is that this behaviour matches the new energy pulses detected by the Clouds and the Earth’s Radiant Energy System (CERES) instrument, which measures emitted and reflected radiative energy from the surface of the Earth.
As a few theories are still being investigated, scientists agree on one thing – we don’t know what is causing Earth to act in this new and strange way.
