I’ve been thinking about my meeting with Rashmoor a couple of days ago. It didn’t go very well.
I let my emotions take over when I spoke to him and now he probably suspects that I may know what he’s done.
That was foolish of me, if I want to retire in peace I need to turn it around and make him believe I know nothing. Only then I can think of my revenge. Otherwise he may come after me too.
I feel like my life is taking a strange turn. Instead of a quiet retirement, I am now thinking to take on a man who disturbed our live years ago by killing our son. A man who, apart from his scientific ambitions, also specialises in spycraft, interrogation, assassination, explosives and other deadly skills.
What am I thinking?
Anyway, I need to figure out how I am going to distract Rashmoor and, at least for the time being, make him believe I know nothing about him and Nate.
