Is UK heading for a data disaster, increasing security risks and slowing the country's growth?

Brexit is upon us and as #Wired reported, not only goods and services will take a hit when no-deal Brexit happens – data sharing is yet another area that will suffer greatly.

The article’s title “A no-deal Brexit may trigger a data disaster, and UK companies don’t have a clue” says it all and as Wired added “Consequently, data from EU countries would not be able to flow freely to the UK”, Wired said.

The major concern is related to information around security, as we previously reported, but it’s still unclear what it means for scientists and European research programs that the UK has been part of.

There is still time to put a deal in place but the clock is ticking as there is less than two months before the transition period ends.
